N0 ELECTRICITY PRICE TO RISE IN AZERBAIJAN
The price for electricity will not rise in Azerbaijan, press-service of the Azernergy joint-stock company announced. In accordance with decision of the Cabinet of Ministers, the tariff policy is pursued in three categories. The population pay 96 manats per kilowatt/hour for electricity while governmental agencies 153 manats, companies 295 manats (all including VAT).
Domestic electricity prices in Azerbaijan are far cheaper than those in other countries.
