Parliament of Azerbaijan appeals IOC
Baku, February 1 (AZERTAC). Milli Majlis of the Azerbaijan Republic (Azerbaijan Parliament) has adopted an appeal to the International Olympic Committee (IOC) to host the 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
An appropriate decision was adopted at the February 1 meeting of Parliament.
The Parliament states its positive stance on hosting the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Azerbaijan and calls on the International Olympic Committee to give OK to this end, Speaker of Milli Majlis Ogtay Asadov emphasized.
