PATRIARCH KIRILL TO BRIEF SYNOD ON HIS AZERBAIJAN VISIT
Baku, May 31 (AZERTAC). The regular session of the Sacred Synod of Russian Orthodox Church has opened today at a historical building of Headquarters of the Holy Synod of Russia in St. Petersburg under the presidency of the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill.
The Patriarch said that the session will highlight the results of his visits to Azerbaijan and Alexandria Orthodox Church, which have taken place after the previous session of the Sacred Synod. Also the participants will follow up the results of the events as part of the Day of Slavic Writing and Culture and the World Russian National Cathedral.
