President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on April 10 received the delegation of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) led by its President Jean Lemierre.

Rapid economic progress in Azerbaijan - substantial accomplishments in various fields of the country’s economy, particularly, in energy sector - was pointed out during the meeting.

The parties expressed satisfaction with the expanding cooperation between Azerbaijan and EBRD, and stressed the importance of its further enhancement. They also exchanged views on a number of other issues of mutual interest.
