We were grieved upon hearing the news on demise of Heydar Aliyevich Aliyev.
Passing away is the prominent statesman and political figure who gave all his strength and knowledge to the cause of establishment of the independent Azerbaijani state. For many years, state activity of Heydar Aliyevich was connected with the service in the state security bodies, where he passed a worthy path from operational staff member to head of the SSC of Azerbaijan.
Heydar Aliyev’s high political and industrial feature, kindness and tactfulness towards the people deserved deep respect both in his Motherland and far away beyond of its borders.
Accept, please, dear Ilham Heydarovich, in these sorrowful days for the people of Azerbaijan, our deep condolence.
We are convinced that interaction of the special services of our countries will further be directed to guarantee security of Azerbaijan and Russia, as well as defense of collective interests of the CIS member-states.
