I was deeply shocked by the news of the death of H.E. Heydar Aliyev, former President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
In his person, we had respect for an outstanding figure of international political life, a supporter of the development of Hungarian-Azerbaijani relations, a great friend of the Hungarian people.
We genuinely share the pain and sorrow of the Azerbaijani nation. May I offer you my deepest sympathy and that of the citizens of the Republic of Hungary.
Mr. President, I am convinced that in your person we can honor someone with the same commitment for the development and promotion of the relations between our peoples and countries.
