Please, accept my heartfelt condolences on the death of your father, President Heydar Aliyev. He made a major contribution to building the independent Republic of Azerbaijan and strengthening the role of Azerbaijan on the International arena. I have no doubt that the policy of closer relations with Western democracies that President Heydar Aliyev had started will be successfully implemented.
