Please, accept most heartfelt condolences on the demise of the great son of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyevich Aliyev. There are people who literally make history. He belonged to this cohort of people. Not only Azerbaijan but also everybody who lived and worked in the Soviet Union feel deepest sorrow at his demise. He did so much for his own people, for peoples of the former USSR and for preservation and development of Azerbaijan-Russia friendship.
All who knew Heydar Aliyevich personally – I evidently belong to them – will never forget this remarkable man, great leader, toiler and patriot.
