On behalf of the International Lawyers Union, the Russian Lawyer Union, and on behalf of myself,
please, accept deepest condolences on the severe loss to You family and the people of Azerbaijan –the demise of the world-known political figure Heydar Aliyev. We grieve and share Your pain.
The impressions from my meetings with Heydar Aliyev in Baku and Moscow will live in my memory forever.
I am confident in further stability and progress in the Republic of Azerbaijan, formation of Heydar Aliyev’s civil society, strengthening supremacy of law, development of democratic institutions, and continuation of the strategic course aimed at rising the county’s prestige in the international community.
I believe that relations of good neighboring and cooperation between Russia and Azerbaijan will be further developed and strengthened under Your leadership in the interests of not only of the two countries but also serve stability and welfare in the whole region.
