Please, accept my deep ans sincere condolences on the demise of Heydar Aliyevich Alyev. The great son of Azerbaijani people has passed away. The historical contribution of Heydar Aliyev to vital achievements of our motherland cannot be overemphasized. Under his leadership in 70-80s Azerbaijan made grandiose progress in all spheres of economy and culture. All of us, from ordinary workers to heads of branches, felt then inspired by his enthusiasm that we could do more and better than before, and believed in our strength. While working for many years under supervision of Heydar Aliyevich I was an eye-witness of his titanic work, hard-edged fight against shortcomings, his talent to come to the point of the existing problems and find exact solutions to the most complicated questions.
His role in development of water industry I was involved in was also tremendous.
During the critical period of the young independent state Heydar Aliyevich found strength to return, managed again to ensure stability, advancement and confidence of the Azerbaijanis in bright future of their motherland.
Heydar Aliyev is a historical figure. His death is a great loss not only to us, but also to the whole humanity.
I deeply mourn this severe loss.
I am confident that You, dear Ilham Heydarovich will worthily continue the glorious causes of Your father.
