On behalf of people of Kazakhstan and on behalf of myself, I express my deep sympathy on decease of your father, ex-President of Azerbaijan Aliyev Heydar Aliyevich. People of Azerbaijan suffered bereavement and we share this grief. The prominent political figure, man of great penetrating mind and irresistible charm has passed away. Heydar Aliyevich made a lot for the Republic of Azerbaijan, for development of CIS, strengthening of the centuries-old friendship between peoples of Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan.
It has always been easy to reach mutual understanding with Your father, we were linked with sincere friendship. I am confident that You, as newly elected President of Azerbaijan will continue traditions of Kazakhstani-Azerbaijani mutual relations, provide succession of the wide political course taken by ex-President of Azerbaijan, your father. Memory on this outstanding man will forever keep in our hearts.
