Georgia was deeply grieved to hear of the death of Heydar Aliyevich. Azerbaijan public has suffered severe loss. The outstanding statesman whose name the formation and revival of the new Azerbaijan statehood is bound up with. Brotherly Azerbaijan has achieved such a great progress in economic and social life mainly due to his civil courage, huge experience and selfless labor for the sake of his people.
Heydar Aliyev has made a great contribution to strengthening friendship and fraternity linked our peoples for centuries. Bright memory of Heydar Aliyev will live in the hearts of my fellow countrymen forever.
