I was deeply saddened to learn of the sad demise of Mr. Heydar Aliyev, former President of Azerbaijan.

The people of Kingdom of Bahrain join me in offering our warmest condolences and sincere comisseration on this tragic event.

He was a kindly and humane man and highly respected by the people of his nation. May God rest his soul in peace.

Please, accept Excellency the assurances of my highest consideration.
