On behalf of the people of Osetiya-Alaniya and on my own behalf, I extend sincere and deep condolences on demise of eminent statesman of Azerbaijan Heydar Alirza oglu Aliyev to you and all the people of Azerbaijan. Heydar Alirza oglu Aliyev made a historical contribution to Azerbaijan’s and former USSR’s social-economic and cultural life. His role in restoration of friendly, neighboring and mutually beneficial relations between Russia and Azerbaijan in the new historical period is highly appreciated not only in Russia but also in Osetiya-Alaniya. His balanced position when making responsible decisions served the maintenance of stability in the Caucasus and improvement of the Commonwealth of Independent States.
The good son of Azerbaijan people Heydar Alirza oglu Aliyev’s memory will live in the hearts of those who used to know and work with him.
