The news on disease of your father Heydar Aliyevich Aliyev shocked me. As an outstanding statesman, real national leader he gained a deserved respect of the people of Azerbaijan, the whole world community. It is hard to estimate his contribution to development and strengthening of friendly, partnership relations between Russia and Azerbaijan. The bright memory of him will be kept by all who used to know this strong and courageous man.
I ask to extend my sincere condolences to relatives of Heydar Aliyevich Aliyev, all the people of Azerbaijan.
