On behalf of the people and government of the Republic of Kalmikiya I express my deep condolences for the demise of the outstanding political figure and statesman Heydar Aliyevich Aliyev.
Death of Heydar Aliyev is a hard blow to all the people who highly values fraternal relations between Russia and Azerbaijan to development of which Heydar Aliyevich made a great contribution. Services of Heydar Aliyevich to education of the pleiad of today’s politicians in the whole post-soviet space are also invaluable. My personal meetings with Heydar Aliyevich as an world-scale political figure will remain in my memory.
The people and government of the Republic of Kalmikiya share the sorrow of the people of Azerbaijan for this loss, and express confidence that the course of Heydar Aliyevich Aliyev aimed at prosperity of motherland will be continued.
