PRESIDENTS OF AZERBAIJAN AND USA TO MEET IN WASHINGTON

President of the United States of America George Bush on 28 April will meet in the White House the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the press service of Bush Administration said. It is emphasized that Azerbaijan is one of the major and worthy partners in combat against terrorism in the region with great importance, and makes certain contributions to this cause in Iraq, Afghanistan and Kosovo.

Reportedly, the agenda of meeting will include development of democracy and cooperation in the Caucasus, energy diversity, as well as the questions concerning joint actions for expansion of freedom and security as common obligations of the United States and Azerbaijan.
