SESSION OF ECONOMIC COUNCIL HELD IN MOSCOW
Chairman of the Economic Council Jomart Otorbayev on behalf of all the participants expressed deep condolence to the Azerbaijani people.
Central topic of the discussions of the 18th session of the CIS Economic Council, passing at the level of Vice Premiers of the Commonwealth, were issues of economic integration and development of the free trade zones.
Azerbaijan was represented at this session by the Vice Premier Abbas Abbasov.
Discussed were issues of creation of leasing conditions, information on direct and indirect obstacles on mutual trade and p[reparation of proposals for their elimination, on the concept of hydro-meteorological safety, as well as the project of new wording of the Regulations on inter-governmental commission on military-economic cooperation of the CIS states and major issues of economic integration, to be considered at the CIS Summit.
