SOCAR, Bulgarian Energy Holding ink MoU on cooperation

Baku, April 27 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijan`s state oil firm, SOCAR, and Bulgarian Energy Holding have today signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation.

The deal was inked by SOCAR`s First Vice President Khoshbakht Yusifzade and Executive Director of the Bulgarian Energy Holding Mikhail Andonov.

The signing ceremony took place as part of a visit by a Bulgarian delegation led by Minister of Economy, Energy and Tourism Delyan Dobrev.

Speaking prior to the signing ceremony, Yusifzade pointed out there was great potential for development of energy cooperation between the two countries.

Dobrev noted the Bulgarian government`s was interested in some of SOCAR`s projects.
