The delegation, led by the Chairman of Iran Merchants Union Endishe Narmigi is now paying a visit to Azerbaijan. The delegation consisted of 40 persons doing business in poultry, beekeeping, cattle breeding and production of construction materials. The guests visited some provinces and familiarized with entrepreneurial activities in the Country.

In the meeting of the Iranian executives and local entrepreneurs, the sides discussed the possibilities to establish joint ventures and attraction of capitals to the agriculture.

Addressing the participants, president of the National Entrepreneurs Confederation Alakbar Mammadov stated that favorable conditions for local businessmen had been created. As the result of the meeting between the President of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev and the entrepreneurs, income tax imposed on the country’s entrepreneurs was reduced by 40 per cent. Legislation and material-technical base was improved and necessary steps towards data exchange have been taken.

The guests pledged to further deepen relations, invite Azerbaijani entrepreneurs to Iran and hold a fair of Iranian goods in Azerbaijan.
