Ankara, February 2 (AZERTAC). First meeting of Azerbaijan Parliament`s spring session was widely covered in the Turkish media. The Turkish press pays special attention to the statement of Speaker of the Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan Ogtay Asadov and other parliamentarians.

Sharp and clear position of the Azerbaijani legislators concerning the bill of the French Senate on penalizing of negation of the so-called “Armenian genocide” was welcomed by the community of brotherly country.

“Zaman” daily quotes the statement by Speaker Asadov who said that “By adoption of the bill on the so-called “Armenian genocide” France has lost its moral right to be a co-chair”.

Other influential media bodies, new agencies, TV channels have disseminated the news on support of Azerbaijani parliamentarians received from the Anatolian and Ihlas news agencies.
