TURKISH PM: “WE ARE PLEASED WITH AZERBAIJAN`s STANCE ON EVENTS”
Istanbul, June 7 (AZERTAC). Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan praised Azerbaijan`s stance towards Israeli attack on a flotilla carrying humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip. Speaking to a press conference with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, the Prime Minister said “we discussed these issues with my dear brother Ilham Aliyev”.
Erdogan underlined Azerbaijan was alongside Turkey on the issue.
He added “my brother Bashar al-Assad backs this position, as well”.
“We are very pleased with fraternal Azerbaijan`s stance on the events.”
Erdogan pointed out it means that both Azerbaijan and Syria and Qatar stand side by side with Turkey.
It shows, he added, that these countries are together to struggle for a common goal.
