TURKSOY`s magazine edition marks 20th anniversary of Azerbaijan`s independence
Ankara, February 15 (AZERTAC). A special edition of TURKSOY`s (the international organization of Turkic culture) magazine dedicated to the 20th jubilee of Azerbaijan`s restoring its independence has been published.
The edition`s front page features speeches of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev made at a ceremony marking the country`s independence and Turkish President Abdullah Gul at a conference on independence ofTurkic states.
The edition also includes an article of Azeri minister of culture and tourism Abulfaz Garayev, interview with the country`s ambassador to Turkey Faig Bagirov as well as articles on the Baku 1st International Puppet Theatres Festival, prominent play writer Mirza Fatali Akhundzade and the 90th anniversary of the Baku Music Academy.
President Ilham Aliyev`s speech and photos for the edition were contributed by the Azerbaijan State Telegraph Agency, AZERTAC.
