VICE-PREMIER OF AZERBAIJAN ATTENDS MEETING CELEBRATING BIRTHDAY OF DAGESTAN`S OUTSTANDING POLITICIAN
Baku, June 18 (AZERTAC). Deputy Premier of Azerbaijan Elchin Efendiyev attended a solemn meeting in Makhachkala marking the 80th birthday of outstanding political figure of Dagestan and Russia, honorary chairman of the State Council of Dagestan Magomedali Magomedov
Elcin Efendiyev congratulated Magomedov on behalf of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.
“You are loved and respected in Azerbaijan as a wise political figure. You did much to strengthen friendly ties between fraternal peoples of Azerbaijan and Dagestan,” he stressed.
Magomedov thanked all participants for congratulations. He specially thanked President of Russia Dmitry Medvedev and Prime Minister Vladimir Putin for assistance and care to Dagestan.
The event was followed by a concert.
