VIII INT’L RUSSIAN THEATERS FESTIVAL DUE IN SAINT PETERSBURG
The VIII International Russian theaters festival of CIS and Baltic countries “Meetings in Russia” on the occasion of the 15th anniversary of CIS will take place April 7-15 in Saint Petersburg.
Commonwealth’ eleven countries, including Azerbaijan will attend the festival.
Azerbaijan State Russian Dramatic Theater after Samad Vurgun will stage a performance based on Richard Baer’s play ‘Mixed Emotions’. Alexander Sharovsky is a producer of the play while Ludmila Dukhovnaya and Fuad Poladov will play major parts.
“Meetings in Russia” will take place with assistance of the Center of Support of Russian Theater abroad, Russian Theater Workers’ Union and Foreign Affairs Ministry.
