13th plenary session of Asian Parliamentary Assembly kicks off in Antalya

The 13th plenary session of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly (APA) has got underway in the Turkish city of Antalya.
An Azerbaijani parliamentary delegation led by Speaker Sahiba Gafarova is representing the country at the session.
The plenary session, held under the theme “Promoting multilateralism in the changing global dynamics”, brings together representatives of parliamentary delegations from 27 APA’s member countries.
APA Secretary General Mohammad Reza Majidi, Speaker of the Turkish Grand National Assembly of Turkiye, APA Acting Chairman Mustafa Sentop, as well as the speakers of the parliaments representing the member countries delivered opening remarks.
The Azerbaijani delegation includes Chairperson of the Parliament`s Culture Committee Ganira Pashayeva, MPs Ilham Mammadov, Anar Mammadov, Aydin Huseynov, Chief of the Milli Majlis Staff Farid Hajiyev and other officials.
