Uzbek singer bikes to Odessa to pay tribute to Muslim Magomayev

Uzbek opera singer, head of the “Registan” ensemble Hursand Sherov has cycled to Odessa, Ukraine, to pay respect to legendary singer, People`s Artist of Azerbaijan and the USSR Muslim Magomayev.

In his interview with AZERTAC, Sherov said he covered a total distance of 8,000 kilometers, passing through Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Russia and Belarus to promote Muslim Magomayev`s legacy in the world.

The Uzbek singer plans to perform songs from Muslim Magomayev`s repertoire at an international folklore festival marking the Independence Day of Ukraine in Kiev on August 24.
