Chairman of Azerbaijan’s Media and Broadcasting Council meets with Turkish delegation

On September 14, Ahmad Ismayilov, Chairman of the Media and Broadcasting Council, met with a delegation led by Ferhat Pirinççi, Deputy Head of Communications at the Presidency's Directorate of Communications of Türkiye.
During the meeting, Ahmad Ismayilov emphasized the importance of existing cooperation between Azerbaijan and Türkiye in the field of media and communications.
The sides highlighted the importance of expanding the exchange of experience in these areas in the modern information environment, as well as strengthening joint efforts to combat disinformation.
Ferhat Pirinççi briefed the new opportunities created by digital transformation in the media and communications sectors.
The meeting also emphasized the importance of effectively utilizing new media tools, developing modern communication approaches, expanding professional ties and joint initiatives between media representatives of the two countries.
