Azerbaijani ambassador presents his credentials to President of Serbia

On September 14, Tahir Taghizada, Azerbaijani Ambassador to Serbia, presented his credentials to the country’s President Aleksandar Vučić.
President Aleksandar Vučić shared a post on his social networks regarding the acceptance of the credentials of the Azerbaijani Ambassador to Serbia.
The Serbian President expressed his confidence that the existing strategic relations, grounded in eternal friendship, would continue steadily developing during the incoming Azerbaijani ambassador’s diplomatic mission.
Vučić described the countries’ mutual support to each other’s sovereignty and territorial integrity as one of the key pillars of mutual trust between the two countries.
The Serbian head of state outlined the existing intensive political dialogue, as well as regular bilateral meetings on all levels as bright examples of the close relations between Azerbaijan and Serbia. He added that the recent visit of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev to Belgrade, as well as the first meeting of Strategic Partnership Council between Azerbaijan and Serbia held during that visit have opened a new chapter in the bilateral relations.
