Oath-taking ceremony held at Heydar Aliyev Military Institute

A solemn oath-taking ceremony was held for newly enrolled cadets at the Heydar Aliyev Military Institute of the National Defense University, the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan reported.
The ceremony brought together the leadership of the National Defense University and the military institute, alongside military personnel, faculty members, and academic staff. Accompanied by the military band, the Battle Flag was solemnly brought to the parade ground.
Participants observed a minute of silence to honor the memory of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and the Martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Motherland. The ceremony continued with the performance of the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Addressing the event, speakers congratulated the cadets on taking the Military Oath and wished them success in their future service. They urged the young cadets to uphold high standards of military discipline, strictly adhere to military regulations, and remain steadfastly committed to serving the nation and the Motherland.
Speaking on behalf of their peers, cadet representatives expressed gratitude for the comprehensive educational and training conditions provided at the institute.
The ceremony concluded with the cadets taking the oath of allegiance to the Motherland.
