Azerbaijani cuisine showcased in Paris

The 10th International Gastronomy Village has concluded at Place de la Concorde in Paris, bringing together cuisines from around the world. Azerbaijan’s national pavilion, organized by the Association of Friends of Azerbaijan with the support of the Embassy of Azerbaijan in France, attracted considerable interest from visitors.
The event brought together chefs from five continents, with participants from more than 80 countries showcasing their national cuisines and culinary heritage. It served as a platform for presenting the culinary traditions of different nations, with embassies, producers, and artisans also taking part.
The Azerbaijani pavilion featured traditional dishes and delicacies, including plov, dolma, shekerbura, pakhlava, badambura, jams, and tea, along with traditional clothing, music, and dance.
Azerbaijani cuisine was among the highlights of the event, giving visitors an opportunity to discover the country’s rich culinary heritage, distinctive flavors, and traditional cooking techniques. Azerbaijani dishes and traditional sweets attracted strong interest, with many visitors praising their rich and distinctive flavors.
The presentation also highlighted Azerbaijan’s historical and cultural heritage through gastronomy and helped strengthen cultural ties between Azerbaijan and France.
This year’s program also focused on environmental responsibility and reducing food waste, with food donations collected during the event to be distributed to homeless people.
