Baku hosts panel discussion on advancing cooperation within Turkic world

A panel discussion on "Turkic World Dialogues: Shared Future, Shared Vision," organized by the Directorate of Communications of the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye, was held in Baku on Monday.
The session commenced with a video presentation showcasing the unity of the Turkic world.
Addressing the panel, Ferhat Pirinççi, Deputy Head of Communications at the Presidency's Directorate of Communications of Türkiye, said that Baku holds an irreplaceable position in the Turkic world. “Far more than a "Second Homeland", it fully reflects the iconic "one nation, two states" principle, as declared by National Leader Heydar Aliyev,” he added.
He emphasized that the primary goal of the panel series, which began in Kazakhstan and continues in Azerbaijan and will next travel to other Turkic states, aims to foster dialogue and generate key ideas ahead of the upcoming Summit of the Organisation of Turkic States (OTS) in Türkiye.
Burhanettin Duran, Head of Communications at the Presidency's Directorate of Communications of Türkiye, joined the panel session via video message, noting that the international system is confronting multifaceted challenges, including deepening crises, intensifying geopolitical competition, disruptions to energy and food security, climate change, cyber threats, and widespread disinformation.
Other speakers at the session included, Chief Advisor to the President of Türkiye Seyit Sertçelik, Member of Parliament Fariz Ismayilzade, Director of the Ismayil Gaspiralı Foreign Policy Institute Esma Özdashli, Chairman of the Board of the Center for Analysis of International Relations and Multiculturalism Farid Shafiyev and Deputy Chairman of the Caucasus Center for International Relations and Strategic Studies Nazim Jafarov.
