Abu Dhabi hosts EUROSAI-ARABOSAI Conference

Baku, April 4 (AZERTAC). The third conference of Supreme Audit Institutions of the audit organizations from Europe (EUROSAI) and Asia (ARABOSAI) on principles of transparency, accountability and anti-corruption has been held in Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates.

Chairman of the Chamber of Accounts of Azerbaijan Heydar Asadov attended the conference at the invitation of Harib Amimi, Chairman of the conference and the President of the State Audit Institution of the UAE.

The event focused on the principles of transparency, accountability, fight against frauds and corruption used in the Supreme Audit Institutions` practice.

The meeting participants also discussed good practice of financial control and audit.

The first EUROSAI/ARABOSAI Conference was held in Tunisia in 2006, while the second in Paris in 2009.
