Azerbaijan, Bahrain discuss prospects for cooperation in field of urban planning

Ambassador of Azerbaijan accredited to Saudi Arabia, as well as to Bahrain, Shahin Abdullayev has met with Minister of Housing and Urban Planning of the Kingdom of Bahrain Amna bint Ahmed Al-Rumaihi to discuss the prospects for cooperation between the two countries in the field of urban planning.
The sides hailed the development of economic relations between the two countries in recent years. Ambassador Abdullayev briefed the Bahraini minister on the large-scale restoration and reconstruction works carried out in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan, stressing that there are ample opportunities for businessmen and companies of friendly Bahrain to join this process.
Minister Amna bint Ahmed Al-Rumaihi highlighted the urban development projects implemented in Bahrain, especially the construction of social housing and urban planning process, adding that her country is keen to cooperate and exchange experience with Azerbaijani colleagues in this area.
The meeting saw an exchange of views on the opportunities of implementing joint projects by the relevant authorities of the two countries in the field of urban planning.
