Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy`s Book Center opens Internet page
Baku, January 28 (AZERTAC). Book Center of the Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy (ADA) yesterday has presented its Internet page.
Pro-rector of the Academy Fariz Ismayilzade has underlined high interest to books in Azerbaijan. Speaking about the importance of propagation of books in the modern world by means of the latest technologies F. Ismayilzade noted that the Internet page of the Academy`s Book Center has been created with that end in view. It was noted that this Center along with sale of books, should become also a place of meetings of bibliophiles.
Presenting detailed information on the website www.adabook.az , the manager of Book Center Rovshana Samadova stated that the page includes more than 20 million electronic books in the Azerbaijani, English and Russian languages. Those who wish to visit the Book Center by means of the Internet can use interactive virtual tour.
The Center will become a place of demonstration and sale of the latest novelties in sphere of information technology. Currently information technology and the Internet play irreplaceable role in development of education. From this point of view, the computer hub of the Book Center will help visitors to expand their choices.
