AZERBAIJAN JOINED ANOTHER INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATION
State Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan on Standardization, Metrology, and Patent was accepted to the International Standardization Organization (ISO) as a full member, Director General of the Agency Khalida Masimova said. The Agency, being full member of the ISO has the right to participate in the work of all technical committees of this authoritative international structure, vote for the projects of created standards, be elected as a member of its Council and participate in all sessions of the General Assembly. Currently, standardization organizations of 120 countries are the members of ISO. Due to the far-seeing home and foreign policy of President of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev, Azerbaijan, becoming member of the most authoritative international and regional organizations, integrates rapidly into the world and became its integral part.
