Azerbaijan retains top position supplying vegetables to Russia
Moscow, May 18, AZERTAC
Last year, Azerbaijan became the leading supplier of vegetables to Russia, accounting for 34 percent of the country’s total vegetable imports.
In 2025, Russia imported approximately 480,000 tons of vegetables worth $1.187 billion, with Azerbaijan holding the largest share.
Turkmenistan ranked second with 19 percent, while Türkiye and China shared third place with 12 percent each.
In 2024, Russia’s vegetable imports totaled 469,000 tons, with Azerbaijan maintaining its leading position at 30 percent, followed by Turkmenistan at 18 percent, and Türkiye and China each at 11 percent.
