AMADA joins international meeting in Paris
Baku, October 2, AZERTAC
The Advisory Group on Science (T-DO SCI) of the Council of Europe's Anti-Doping Convention convened in Paris, bringing together experts and representatives of national anti-doping organizations, the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA), government and scientific institutions, laboratories, and other stakeholders from Europe and beyond.
Azerbaijan was represented by Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Azerbaijan National Anti-Doping Agency (AMADA) Rufat Efendiyev.
The two-day meeting focused on key scientific and policy issues in anti-doping, including T-DO’s contribution to consultations on the 2027 Prohibited List, approaches to cannabinoids, and best practices for managing contamination cases.
Participants also reviewed the outcomes of this year’s international conference on the availability of doping substances and exchanged views on research coordination, anti-doping information tools, laboratory standards, and the prevention of inadvertent doping.
