AZERBAIJAN, UNITED NATIONS DISCUSS COOPERATION

Baku, May 22 (AZERTAC). Visiting representative of the UN Secretary General on the human rights of internally displaced persons (IDPs) Walter Kalin has today met chairwoman of the parliament`s committee on human rights Rabiyyat Aslanova.

Discussions revolved around cooperation between Azerbaijan and the UN and its agencies, settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, problems of refugees and IDPs in the country, attention of the government to them, as well as the UN`s assistance to Azeri refugees and IDPs.
