Azerbaijani and Indian businessmen boost cooperation
Baku, March 31 (AZERTAC). A meeting of Azerbaijani and Indian businessmen took place in Baku Business center. The event was co-organized by Azerbaijan`s Economic Development Ministry, Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AzPROMO) and Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI).
About 50 businessmen engaged in agriculture and food industry, health, construction, chemical industry, textile, engineering and other fields participated in the event.
Chief of the administration of the Ministry of Economic Development Samir Valiyev told of achievements in Azerbaijan`s economy and close economic ties between Azerbaijan and India.
Indian ambassador to Azerbaijan Debnat Show said the trade turnover between the two countries is growing. Deputy Secretary General of FICCI Sheyla Sudakaran said such meetings will strengthen relations between the two countries.
Head of AzPROMO Adil Mammadov briefed on investment opportunities of the country.
