AZERBAIJANI DELEGATION TO PARTICIPATE IN CONFERENCE OF TRACECA INTERGOVERNMENTAL COMMISSION

Azerbaijani delegation led by the Minister of Transport Ziya Mammadov will participate in the 5th conference of TRACECA (Transport Corridor Europe Caucasus Asia) Intergovernmental Commission due to be held in Bulgarian capital, Sofia, May 2-3.

According to Akif Mustafayev, the Commission’s national secretary for Azerbaijan, major goal of the conference is to discuss the activity of the organization, its long-term plans and new projects.

He said the approval of the organization’s strategy for 2006-2010, and transformation of the TRACECA into an international organization will be put onto the agenda of the conference as well.
