Azerbaijani scientist participates at int’l conference in Turkmenistan

Baku, April 4 (AZERTAC). International Scientific Conference “Medieval cities of Turkmenistan in the system of the Eurasian civilization” by organization of the Institute of History of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan was held in the city of Ashgabat.

Near by 200 reports were listened at the event. 60 of them were the reports of representatives from different countries.

The director of Institute of Language and Literature of the ANAS Nakhchivan Branch, correspondent member of ANAS Abulfaz Guliyev leaded the international scientific conference “Historiography and sources on the history of medieval cities of Turkmenistan”.

Abulfaz Guliyev told at the meeting on Muhammed Salih’s “Sheybani-name” works as valuable source on Turkmen cities in 16th century.

The guests acquainted with Turkmen historical monuments.
