Azerbaijani, Ukrainian prosecutor bodies discuss bilateral cooperation
Baku, April 24 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijan`s Prosecutor General Zakir Garalov has today met an Ukrainian delegation led by head of the Military Prosecutor`s Office Yuri Viytev.
Garalov stressed the necessity of deepening and developing political and economic relations between the two countries.
He spoke of progressive legislative acts signed by President Ilham Aliyev to modernize the country`s judicial system.
Garalov also briefed the delegation on legal reforms conducted in Azerbaijan.
Viytev underlined the importance of discussing prospects for cooperation between the two countries` military prosecutor`s offices.
He said the Ukrainian Military Prosecutor`s Office attaches great importance to development of cooperation with Azerbaijan.
They also stressed the necessity of strengthening and developing relations between the countries` military prosecutor`s bodies.
Ukrainian ambassador to Azerbaijan Alexander Mishchenko and Azerbaijan`s Military Prosecutor Khanlar Valiyev were present at the meeting.
