Azerbaijan`s Agriculture Minister meets Head of EU delegation
Baku, April 26 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijan`s Minister of Agriculture Ismat Abbasov has today met Head of the EU delegation to the country, Ambassador Roland Kobia.
They discussed the EU`s Budget Support Programme for Agriculture and Rural Development in Azerbaijan.
Abbasov highlighted Azerbaijan`s efforts towards European integration. The Minister hailed the European Union`s assistance to Azerbaijan in developing its economy, including agriculture.
He also praised the participation of EU representatives in the 28th European Regional Conference of the UN Food and Agriculture Organization.
Abbasov highlighted Azerbaijan`s achievements in the agrarian sector.
The Head of the EU delegation to Azerbaijan noted that he would spare no efforts to further contribute to developing cooperation between the country and the organization.
