Azeri delegation to visit Egypt

Baku, December 13 (AZERTAC). Delegation of Azerbaijan headed by the minister of industry and energy Natig Aliyev on December 14 will pay an official visit to the Arab Republic of Egypt.

The delegation includes rector of the Azerbaijan Oil Academy (ADNA), academician Siyavush Garayev, officials of the Azerbaijan State Oil Company (SOCAR) and others.

In the framework of visit to be realized on the invitation of the oil minister of Egypt Samih Fahmi the parties will have discussions on prospects of relations in the field of oil-gas deposit exploration, development and processing, cooperation between ADNA and Cairo University, as well as achieving of the opening of ADNA branch in Egypt.

The delegation plans to be acquainted with industrial enterprises of Egypt as SUMED Company, MIDOR and Al-Amriyya oil processing plants.

During the visit to last till December 18, the Azeri delegation will have also meetings with the President of Egypt Hosni Mubarak and Premier Ahmed Muhammad Nazif.
