Azeri MPs take part in Igdir conference on Genocide of Azerbaijanis
Ankara, April 1 (AZERTAC). Azeri MPs Ganira Pashayeva, Musa Gasimli, Fattah Heydarov, Azay Guliyev and Fazil Mustafa participated in a conference titled “Genocides and Armenian claims against Azerbaijani Turks in the region and Igdir”.
Azeri MPs met with Igdir governor Amir Cicek as a part of the conference. The sides discussed cooperation between Turkey and Azerbaijan.
Ganira Pashayeva, Musa Gasimli, Fattah Heydarov and chairman of Turkish Center for International Relations and Strategic Analysis Sinan Ogan reported on savageries committed by Armenians in Azerbaijan and eastern provinces of Turkey. Reporters noted the necessity of raise awareness of the international community about truths on the aggression committed by Armenians.
Speakers underlined importance of shutting down the Metsamor Nuclear Power Plant in Armenia, which is considered a source of threat for the region.
A book by Ganira Pashayeva entitled “Victim of the genocide committed by Armenians- Baganıs Ayrim” was also presented as a part of the conference.
