British ambassador visits Azerbaijan Translation Centre

British Ambassador Irfan Siddig has visited Azerbaijan Translation Centre under the Cabinet of Ministers to meet its director Afag Masud.

Mrs. Masud highlighted the history of the Centre, as well as its prospects and activity directions.

On developing friendly relations between the two countries, Irfan Siddiq said he became familiar with the catalogue of books of the Center translated and published from English literature and praised translations of valuable books.

On bilateral cooperation between the Embassy and the Center, the diplomat said preparatory works were carried out at the Oxford and Cambridge Universities for studying Azerbaijani language and expressed confidence that the Center would contribute with its activity to this work.
