Chairman of Nakhchivan Supreme Assembly meets with Cuban ambassador

Chairman of the Supreme Assembly of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Vasif Talibov has met with Cuban Ambassador to Azerbaijan Alfredo Fidel Nieves Portuondo.
Vasif Talibov hailed the two countries` mutual support within international organizations, and noted that the bilateral ties are developing in a variety of fields. The chairman said Nakhchivan and Cuba enjoy trade relations, and stressed the importance of establishing cooperation in the field of education, and conducting exchange of experience in tobacco industry.
Ambassador Alfredo Fidel Nieves Portuondo hailed Nakhchivan`s history, culture and modern development.
