Dubai delegation familiarizes with Azerbaijan`s investment opportunities
Baku, April 20 (AZERTAC). Chief of Dubai Emir`s Administration, executive director of the Dubai Investment Corporation, Chairman of the Dubai Bank and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Dubai Islamic Bank Mohammed Ibrahim Al-Shaibani and his accompanying delegation familiarized themselves with Azebaijan`s investment opportunities.
The guests first met with Azerbaijani minister of economic development Shahin Mustafayev to discuss economic relations and investment opportunities.
Deputy minister Niyazi Safarov updated the guest on achievements gained in social and economic field, favorable business climate and the country`s investment and tourism opportunities.
Vice-president of Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation Gulshan Rzayeva, deputy executive director of Azerbaijani Investment Company Rovshan Nacaf, chief of the Caspian International Investment Company Togrul Kocharli gave the detailed information about the investment projects.
Director of the “Baku White City” Ruslan Sadikhov updated the guest on this large-scale project.
Mr. Shaibani praised the country`s rapid development. He said the government of Dubai is keen to make investments in Azerbaijan.
On the Baku White City project, Mr. Shaibani said he was ready to share his experience in this field. Chief of Dubai Emir`s Administration also underlined he would also visit the other regions of Azerbaijan to closely familiarize himself with the country`s tourism opportunities.
