European young lawyers to gather in Baku
Baku, April 24 (AZERTAC). An international lawyers` forum organized by Baku office of the European Law Students` Association (ELSA) will take place in Baku, April 26.
The event will bring together MPs, lawyers, representatives of Azerbaijan Lawyers Confederation and the ELSA.
The aim of the forum is to acquaint Azerbaijani students with European legal education, exchange of experience between Azerbaijani and European students as well as inform European students about Azerbaijan`s legal education.
Report about activity of Baku office of the European Law Students` Association will be heard at the forum. Besides, meetings with students of Azerbaijani Universities and representatives of law-enforcement structures and roundtable meetings will be organized within the forum.
The official sponsor of the event is Azerbaijan Ministry of Youth and Sports.
The European Law Students` Association (ELSA) is an international, independent, non-political, non-profit organization run by and for law students. ELSA-activities comprise a large variety of academic and professional events that are organized to fulfill the vision of ELSA. Five law students from Austria, Hungary, Poland and West Germany founded ELSA on 4 May 1981. Today ELSA is the world`s largest independent law students association and it is represented at nearly 300 law faculties in 42 countries across Europe with membership in excess of 30,000 students and young lawyers.
